New version on the appstore: more feature, price change

Short version: the application will now be free for you to try it before purchase. You can unlock it in the settings later, price does not change. For free you have 100 notifications to play with the app. Once you unlocked the app you have 20,000 notifications, you can buy more credits (10,000 notifications for $0.99, should let you go for a year). The application still works if you run out of credits, but we suggest you buy them for helping us to cover our cost. Existing users are already unlocked and don’t have to pay, they also start with 20,000 notifications.

Long version:

Apple has finally approved the new version of our application I’ve submitted weeks ago. We already work on a new version for the application but you should already like this one.

Pricing changed, don’t update if you don’t agree with it. The bottom line is I’ve tried to make it fair for you and for us. You will now have the application for free (might take a few hours for the change to apply on iTunes) and will unlock it within the app for the same price as before: $2.39. If you had paid for the previous version already, your account should be unlocked, else contact us. For this price you will get 20,000 notifications. 20,000 notifications means more than 50 notifications a day for a full year, our average user should go for at least 6 months. When you run out of notifications, you can buy 10,000 notifications more for $0.99. Oh, and if you bought the application, you start with a fresh 20,000 notifications even you received a million the last month, to thank you for being early adopter.

What about features ? Well you can now:

  • share your notifications on Twitter or by email
  • activate silent mode from the application when you go in a meeting
  • send yourself notifications at a later time
  • all browsing happens inhouse (in the app).
  • when receiving notification for emails, you can also reply within the app or within the mail app, as you wish.
  • FAQ is available within the app in the settings
  • You can send a feedback from the settings
  • You can delete all notifications from the settings

Oh, one more, tap the top navigation bar where you read “Notifications”.

I hope you’ll like this.
